    Burton @ Coeburn

Coeburn has shown they can play but do they have anything for the Raiders?

They have a "dance card". They like the waltz's and Burton loves the fast dance. No contest at all here.

Burton's had two weeks w/o blocking a soul.. If they continue to Play good defense and poor offense.. every team they play may be able to hang around long enough to make it into a game... that said, I don't see Coeburn being within 4tds of burton when the game ends, Unless they score lots vs the 2nd team.

I think the Raiders will have far too much speed I think they'll burn Coeburn up both on the ground and through the air. Coeburn didn't do a very good job on offense, either, because their O-Line was constantly getting destroyed by Kelly, so I think Burton will take advantage of that and wreak havoc on anyone who touches the ball. Unless Coeburn has made some huge adjustments since the Kelly game I saw, Burton wins by 30-40+ easily.

They showed they can play by beating Ervinton? The only thing theyve shown so far is how to run their mouths. Burton BIG. 42-7

Run their mouths? How, pray tell, do you come up with that?

Coeburn has yet to put together four good quarters. They played a great first quarter against Clintwood, but got worn down. They played two great quarters against Honaker. Three good quarters against Wise. Two good quarters against Thomas Walker.

Exactly what I was meaning by my comment that they can play.

They are much better. I don't think they have the horses yet and I think it'll be next year before the system with the new coaches really starts to pay dividends. It takes a while to get everyone to buy in and to know what it takes to be successful. After this year, the kids that played this year and come back will be the ones you start building a foundation on because they know what's expected.
